A TEACHING ON SPIRITUAL WARFARE
TO GET THIS TEACHING ON VIDEO,
Spiritual warfare is war in the spirit. The devil is not happy with anyone who has given their life to Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17-"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
Anyone who has given their lives to Christ is a new creation because his/her sins are forgiven by Him. The devil is the origin of sin.

In Genesis 3, the devil led the woman to sin. He made the woman to disobey God’s commandment. The devil brought doubt of God’s commandment as it had been given by God to Adam and Eve.
Genesis 3:1b …“Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
By asking this the devil brought doubt into the mind of the woman. The woman therefore looked at the forbidden tree and saw it was good for food and she ate and also gave man to eat too. That is how sin came to the world. The devil hates anyone whose sins have been forgiven by Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:20 - "Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ…"
Any person that is born again is an ambassador of Jesus Christ. The devil is not happy with us because we are working for Christ. The devil would like people to suffer and die and be far away from God, but Jesus Christ came that we may be reconciled to God.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Jesus came to take us back to God by being crucified and dying for our sins.

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
God wants us to have eternal life but the devil wants us to die by committing sin. Jesus Christ came that we may be forgiven our sins.

1 John 3:8 - "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."
Any sinner is of the devil. The devil would want everybody to be his so that everyone is cast into the lake of fire, together with him. Revelation 20:10, 15 - 10 "The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." The devil will be thrown into the lake of fire together with those who sinned. God came in human flesh (as Jesus Christ) to destroy the works of the devil. Being an ambassador for Christ means you are a destroyer of the works of the devil. The devil does not want this and therefore we are enemies to Satan.

2 Timothy 2:3 - "You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."
If you’re born again you are a soldier of Jesus Christ. We are called soldiers of Jesus Christ so that we may fight the evil in this world and people may be saved and have eternal life.

Ephesians 6:11 - "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
As a good soldier of Jesus Christ, you’re supposed to put on the whole armor of God so as to withstand the wiles or evil tricks of the devil. The devil likes to trick people into sin just like he tricked Adam and Eve in Genesis 3, and would want us to continue sinning. But Jesus Christ came that we may repent our sins, through Him, and have eternal life. If you want to survive as a Christian, you have to put on the whole armor of God.

Ephesians 6:12 - "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
We do not fight against flesh and blood. We do not fight against human beings. Human beings are flesh and blood. We do not fight against our brothers and sisters, government officials, fathers and mothers, friends, workmates etc.; but against the powers of darkness - the devil, demons and the devil’s army; and we shall prevail in Jesus name!

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 - "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
We do not fight in the flesh because our weapons of warfare are mighty in God. They destroy the works of the devil. They pull down strong holds of the devil - we rise against diseases, witchcraft and devil worship and we prevail, in Jesus name.

Ephesians 6:14-18 gives the Components of the armor of God as:
-
Truth
-
Righteousness
-
Gospel of peace
-
Faith
-
Salvation
-
Word of God
-
Prayer
A true Christian must have all of them, at the same time. A born again person must walk in truth always. Your life must be full of righteousness. Do what is right before God. Righteousness is the breastplate. We must preach the Gospel of peace wherever we go, in Jesus name. We must stand in faith in Jesus Christ because faith will quench the fiery darts of the devil. We should cover our feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace. We have the shield of faith that quenches the fiery darts of the enemy. Hebrews 11:6a - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him…"
We should have the helmet of salvation. We should have the Word of God in our hearts which is the sword of the Spirit. Read the Word of God regularly. When you read the word of God and store it in your heart, the Holy Spirit uses it to defeat the devil.

Matthew 4:3-7 - 'Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” Jesus said to him, “It is written again, You shall not tempt the LORD your God.”'
Jesus Christ defeated the devil by declaring the Word of God against him. When the devil told Jesus to command the stones to become bread, Jesus replied that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Jesus kept quoting the word of God until the devil was defeated. Please always read the word of God and keep it as treasure in your heart to be used against the devil.

Joshua 1:8 - "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."
We should meditate upon the Word of God day and night to be sure of what is written that we may prosper and have good success. Meditate on the Word of God. It is the sword of the Spirit.

Ephesians 6:18 - "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints."
Prayers and supplications is our daily work, as Christians. We should pray for every saint, as our brothers and sisters in Christ, who are facing the same battle as we do. We should pray in the Spirit every time. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - "pray without ceasing."

Romans 8:26 - "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
The Holy Spirit helps us to pray according to the will in the heart and mind of God.

Matthew 16:18b "…I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."
The church of Christ is made of people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in their hearts. Jesus has assured us that the devil will not prevail against the church. Continue with your salvation, profess truth, declare the faith of God, walk in righteousness, speak the gospel of peace, stand with faith, stand in salvation, read the Word of God and meditate upon it. Pray every time in Spirit and do not fear the devil. We are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us.

2 Chronicles 20:15 "…for the battle is not yours, but God’s."
God will fight for us. Our role is to put on the whole armor of God and we shall win in, Jesus’ name.

Psalms 23:4 - "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."
We shall not fear the devil whether he threatens us with death or challenges. God is with us and we’re going to win. Continue with faith in Jesus and God will protect you.

Psalms 118:17 - "I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD."
The devil will not scare us in, Jesus name! We are soldiers for Christ and we shall succeed day and night, in Jesus name!

Romans 8:31b "…If God is for us, who can be against us?"
God is for us and we will conquer the devil.
Psalms 30:5b "…Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning."
